We Missed You, Aunt Kerin

Since Kerin is living in Japan, we did not have the pleasure of her presence at our Meengs Christmas Eve celebration. It was pretty strange without her jokes and laughter, but we managed without her this year. Maybe we can enjoy Christmas with her next year! Here are a few ways we did include her-

Kerin sent a package for the family to open. Inside was a unique Japanese gift for everyone as well as a package of chop sticks with the instructions to use them to eat dinner. Here are a few of the dinner photos. I'll get a few more of Mom's and post those too. They provided quite a few laughs!

Kids are allowed to use 2 hands, right?!?

Yes... Mom is eating out of the serving bowl! =) I'm sure it was Uncle Duane's idea!

Here we all are, talking to Kerin on the phone. It was great to hear her voice, even if she couldn't hear us!

Dylan's Japanese gift was a set of tools and some strange clay. He had a great time playing with them today! Especially the scissors. Good choice Kerin!
