Annual Camping Weekend

This weekend was the 3rd annual camping trip for the Kiekintveld & Meengs families. However, being that Laura is 8 months pregnant and I am 7 months, we decided that tent camping and finding the public bathroom in the middle of the night was not for us this year! Thanks to Mom & Dad Meengs' for letting us use the cottage instead.

Who would have thought that our normal sweatshirts, jeans, and even winter coats would have been traded for tank tops and swim suits? Crazy! It was ALMOST too warm to do Pizza Tonka Pies on the fire, but we just had to do that!

We had a great time fishing, relaxing, eating, running around the yard, playing in the sand, and having our Bocce Ball Tourney (which was cut short by swollen ankles and sore feet!). Here are a few pictures--



Next year we'll have 3 little kids to play with instead of just 1 crazy guy, so hopefully it is a little cooler... but just as sunny!
